Robert L. Bell, 49, of Hillsboro, died Sunday afternoon, Oct 21, 1979 at his home. Mr. Bell was born May 2, 1930 at Hillsboro to Leslie and Oveta Suitors Bell. He was married Jan 18, 1950 at Hillsboro to Joetta Moreman, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Darryl and Donald L, ; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Nana) Peevler; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Harshbarger of Hillsboro and Mrs. Caty Jones of Wingate; one brother, Donald Bell of Dana, Ind. He graduated from Hillsboro HS in 1948. He operated the Texaco Service Station in Hillsboro for about 20 years and for the past 15 years has been a welder in the maintenance department at RR Donnelley's in Crawfordsville. Services at the Hillsboro Methodist Church with Rev. Gil Hubbard and Rev. Edgar F. Allen officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery with Crulley & Williams in charge.
