BELL, Mary Elizabeth Clem

Mary Elizabeth Bell of RR 2, Covington, age 85, died Sunday morning, May 22, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Kent Township, Warren County, July 4, 1897, the daughter of Charles H. and Myrtle Stevens Clem. July 13, 1919, she married Harley A. Bell, who survives. Mrs. Bell was a member of State Line United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Kent-Mound Home Economics Club and Richard Henry Lee Chapter, DAR. She was a graduate of West Lebanon High School and Winona Lake College.
Also surviving are twin daughters, Marjorie Clark of West Lebanon and Martha Barnes of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons, Merrill H. and Ralph C., both of Covington; a sister, Caroline Meade of Covington; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The body was taken from Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington to State Line Methodist Church for funeral services Wednesday morning with Rev. Gary Hall officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks so much to S
