Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington for Lewis Henry Bell, 44 of near State Line who died at 5:100 p.m. Saturday at Carle Memorial Hospital in Urbana. Mr. Bell was born Dec 24, 1909 at Monticello, Ky son of Jerry and Tishie Clark Bell. He married Marjorie Lanham Nov 11, 1931. She survives. Also surviving are his father, Jerry Bell of Rossville; three brothers, Harold, Clarence and Artie of Rossville; two sisters Mrs. Eva Lanham of Veedersburg route 2, Stella Ingram of Rossville. Mr. Bell had farmed all his life and resided on Covington Route 2 near State Line for 12 years. He was a member of the Yeddo Baptist Church. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery. – kbz
