Shepherd, Oct 3 – Funeral services for Mrs. Halcion Bell, 77, wife of Rev. WH Bell who died Thursday will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Shepherd Christian Church, rev. Ralph Woodard, Rev. OA Trinkle and Rev. Charles Ross will officiate. Burial will be in the Salt River cemetery. Mr. Bell, retired pastor of the Christian Church and Mrs. Bell had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept 20. They had lived here for 23 years. Surviving are one son, Russell Bell of Dearborn; five daughters, Mrs. Maurin Smith of Jackson. Mrs. Dorothy Bartling of Inkster, Mrs. Beatrice Brickner of Bloomington, Ind, Mrs. Helen Hummel of Shepherd and Mrs. Helen Hummel of Shepherd and Mrs. Betty LaRue Caszatt of Mt. Pleasant; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The body will remain at the Garber Funeral Home until time for services. =kbz
