BEEDLE, Albert R. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

MR. ALBERT R. BEEDLE: Albert Ross Beedle, 79, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday at his home, 1078 Columbus avenue. Mrs. Beedle recently underwent surgery and had been home only a few days from the hospital. Born March 3, 1875 in Warren County, Indiana, Mr. Beedle lived in Attica, Ind., where he was employed at the National Steel foundry, before he came to Benton Harbor 35 years ago to make his home. He was employed here at Superior Steel and Malleable Castings company until his retirement. Mr. Beedle's death came on his 54th wedding anniversary. He married Miss Rhoda Boggs on Oct. 14, 1906 in Attica. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary four years ago. Surviving besides Mrs. Beedle are a son, Robert, and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Baushke, both of Benton Harbor, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Beedle was a member of the First Christian church of Attica, Ind. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Florin funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Groff, pastor of the local First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Springs cemetery. Friends may call at the Florin funeral home.
