BECKETT, Humphrey - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral rites were held Monday afternoon, Dec. 4, at the Scottsburg Christian Church, for Humphrey K. Beckett, age 79, who died unexpectedly Friday evening, Dec. 1, at his home in Scottsburg. Mr. Beckett was a native of the Foster community and had resided in Scottsburg about 15 years. Surviving are: his wife, Florence; a sister, Mrs. Vernie Remster of Effingham, Ill.; and several nephews and nieces, including Miles Stevens, Covington Rt. 1, Earl Stevens of Brownsburg, and J. W. Stevens of Miami, Fla.
