BEAVER, Ruth (Miss) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ruth Beaver, 87 of 214 W. Second St, Veedersburg died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday Feb 1, 1997 at Covington Manor Healthcare. Born Nov 17, 1909, in Hillsboro she was the daughter of Albert and Sarah (Willmore) Beaver. Surviving are one sister, Mary E. Allen of Covington; one nephew, Michael Morehouse of Danville, California whom she raised and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a twin sister, Ellen Morehouse, three half sisters and five half brothers. She lived in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro HS in 1928. She had resided in Veedersburg since 1928 and was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a bookeeper for many years at Veedersburg Brick Paver Company and then Covington Manufacturing Co for several years. She made her home with her twin sister, Ellen Morehouse until her death in 1991. Visitation was Monday at Parham-Shelby Funeral Home, Veedersburg. Services there on Tuesday with Paul Kent officiating. Interment in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg.
