BEAM, Cyrus E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Cyrus Ellsworth Beam, 89, of Freedom died at Culver Hospital at 7:30 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Beam, who for many years was a resident of this county had been ill for two months., He was born in this county June 8, 1856, and was the son of Jacob and Margaret Thompson Beam.  He was first married to Victoria Hankins, who died in 1893. He was married a second time to Levora Wright, who survives. The survivors besides the wife include three daughters, Mrs. Newton Busenbark and Mrs. James Quillin, both of this city and Mrs. Harvey Hudson of Freedom; two sons, Walter Beam of New Maysville and Howard Beam of California; a step-son Cecil Wright of Florida and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Hunt & Son Funeral Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Burial will be at Waynetown. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.  - kbz
