Glenn W. Bassett, former resident of Crawfordsville, died suddenly Monday with a heart attack at his home, 1623 E. Market St. , Warsaw, Ind. Funeral services were held Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Warsaw. Mr. Bassett moved to Warsaw 16 years ago after working for a number of years at the old Crawfordsville Foundry, Inc. In recent years he had been employed as a salesman for the Bremen Gray Iron Foundry, Inc., of Bremen, Ind. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He is survived by his widow, Louise F. Bassett; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Jean) Maley of Ft. Wayne; a son, Thomas Ralph Bassett of Crawfordsville; a brother, Atwood Bassett of Perrysville; two granddaughters, Mrs. Sandra Simpson and Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Largent of Crawfordsville, and two great-grandchildren. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
