Mrs. Mildred L. Barry, 63, nee Eckhart of Rolling Meadows, formerly of Elgin died Saturday in Eden Hospital, Castro Valley, Calif after an extended illness. For the last five years. Mrs. Barry and her husband, Thomas have operated the Barry’s Natural Food Store at 1729 W. Golf Rd in Mount Prospect. Visitation is today from 5-9:30 p.m. and tomorrow from 3 to 9:30 p.m. in Haire Funeral Home, Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue, Arlington Heights. Mrs. Barry was born in Attica, Ind Aug 12, 1910 and is survived by her husband, Thomas F. a son, Michael of Rolling Meadows; a daughter, Mrs. Monica (Robert) Koch of Elgin; 7 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Lester Eckhart of McHenry and sister, Mrs. Doris Blomstead of hayward, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lelah Eckhart. Prayers for Mrs. Barry will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning in the chapel of the funeral home. Then the body will be taken to St. Colette Catholic Church 3900 Meadow Dr, Rolling Meadows where a funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. -kz
