BARR, Chauncey T. (WWII) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ROCKVILLE, Ind. (CNS) — Chauncey T. Barr, 63, of Rockville, Ind., died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 7, 1969) at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Feb. 5, 1906 in Rockville, the son of Edward and Edith Smart Barr. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Rockville. He was a veteran of World War II, and a retired mechanic. He is survived by three brothers, Paul of Rockville, Howard of Arizona, and James of Detroit, Mich. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Barnes Mortuary in Rockville. The Rev. Philip Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Garden. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday.--waw
