Georgetown, Ill.—George William Barnard Jr., 50, Georgetown, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 1989 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.
He was born Aug. 10, 1938 in Danville, the son of George and Anna E. Bannon Barnard Sr.
He was employed at Harrison steel castings Co., Attica, Hyster Company and Manpower. He was a member of Olive branch Masonic Lodge 38 and Gao Grotto.
Surviving are his mother; a son, Steven E., Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Kenneth Dean, Georgetown; four sisters, Patsy Sevener, Greenville, S. C.; Mrs. Cecil (Donna) Randall, Danville; Judith Powell, Decatur, Ill., and Karen Dickens, Gary. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home & Gardens with the Rev. Kenneth Bostwick officiating. Burial was in Atherton Cemetery.
