Veedersburg, Sept 10 – Mrs. Della Barkley, 76,died at 7:30 Friday night at the home of her brother, George Glover, here. She had been ill for several weeks. Mrs. Barkley was a life-long resident of this community and a member of the Church of Christ Scientists. She was the daughter of William and Mary Cossing Glover; and was married to William Barkley who died several years ago. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Effie McElwee, Veedersburg and Mrs. Anna Crane, Covington and four brothers, George, James and Berle Glover of Veedersburg and Elmer Glover, Newark, NJ. Funeral services were held at the home of George F. Glover, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. – thanks to BD
