Veedersburg, Ind -- Mrs. Ruth Barker, 78, of 304 Dewey Street, died at 4:20 a.m. today, November 27, 1978 at Carle Foundation Hospital at Urbana. A life resident of Fountain County, she moved to Veedersburg 8 years ago from the Kingman area. Born January 8, 1900 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Anna Neal McKinsie. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 517 and OES 204, both of Kingman. Survivors include a son, Thomas Barker of Luskin, Tx; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Wooten of Veedersburg Rt 4; a brother, Harold E. McKinsie of Covington; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday at the Dickerson Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Nolting officiating. Burial in Centennial Cemetery. Friends will be recived at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. -- kbz
