BARKER, Nellie C. Swaim - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nellie C. Barker, 80 died at the Friendship Home in Bloomingdale In about 7 p.m. yesterday July 27, 1962.  She had been a patient at the nursing home for about one year.  Born April 23, 1882 in Parke Co, she was the daughter of William and Rebecca Cox Swaim.  She was married to Emerson Barker, who survives. A member of Tangier Friends Church, she resided in the Kingman Tangier areas all her life.  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Abbie Thomas of Kingman; and two granddaughters.  She was prec in d. by a sister. The body is at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman where arrangements are pending, burial at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
