Wallace - Mrs. Nella Barker, Wallace Resident, Succums at 81 Mrs. Nella Barker, 81, died at 2 a.m. Saturday. She had been ill for nine years, following a paralytic stroke and died of complications. She was b. July 20, 1879, to John & Sarah Ellen (Hybarger) Osborn in Wallace. She was educ. in the Jackson Twp Schools and married John Barker March 1, 1900. She was a member of the Wallace Christian Church. The survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Bever with whom she made her home near Wallace; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Dalger of Rockville; two granddaugthers, Mrs. Va. Starns of Wallace and Mrs. Vivian Goben of Indy. and seven great grandchildren. Her husband and a son, Maurice preceded her in death. Fun. services will be conducted by Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 2 p.m. Tues. Bur. will be in the Lutheran Cemetery near Wallace ?? Newspaper Wallace, Ind Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro for Mrs. Nella Barker, 81 of Wallace who died Saturday in the Britton Nursing Home at Rockville. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cem. near Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home SUnday and Monday night. Born July 20, 1879, Mrs. Barker was the daughter of John and Sarah Elle Hybarger Osborn. She married John Barker 3-1-1900. She was a member of the Wallace Christian Church and attended Jackson Twp schools. Surviving are a duaghter, Mrs. Charles Bever, of near Wallace where Mrs. Barker had lived for some time; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Dalger of Rockville; two grandchildren and 7 greats. The husband and a son, Maurice preceded her in death.
