Mary Elizabeth Barker, 81, widow of Isaac Barker, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, January 4, 1936. Mrs. Barker was born Jan 28, 1855 in Parke County, Indiana daughter of Mikel and Esther Shoaf. She was the last of a family of six. November 13, 1880, she married Isaac Barker. He died two years ago March. She is survived by three sons, Ira, Elmer and Guy, one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Tunin, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the UB Church., Rev. Winfield Sherrial Remington, Indiana officiating. Burial in Harveysburg.
