Courtney Cecil Barker, 70, of 201 Summit, Rossville, died at 5 p.m. Saturday June 26 1971 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. He had been in failing health the past year. Mr. Barker was born April 12 1901 in Grange Corner, Ind. to Jess and Emaline Catterson Barker. He married Sept 22 1933 in Rosedale Ind to Gertie Preece who survives. Also surviving are a son Max of Georgetown, a sister Mrs. Gladys Pedigo of Veedersburg and three grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. Christman Funeral Home in Rossville had charge of the services.
