Mrs. Eliza K. Remster, wife of John BANTZ, died at their home on East Liberty street at an early hour Sunday morning, after a linger illness from tuberculosis. Mrs. Bantz was born in Fountain County Oct 10, 1873 and died June 18, 1905, aged 31 years 8 months 11 days. She was united in marriage to John Badtz (sic) Jan 19, 1893; four bright children and a devoted husband surviving her to mourn her early death. In Feb 1894, she united with the ME Church at the Bend, and remained a member until death, being prepared and ready to go when the hour came.  The funeral services were held at the ME Church conducted by Rev. Palmer, Tuesday morning at 9:30 interment following in the Steely cemetery. - kbz
