Covington, Sept 30 -- Mrs. Anna Rhodes Bantz, 77, a well known resident of Covington died Saturday morning at 3 o'clock at her home here. Mrs. Bantz was born April 23, 1867 in Covington, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Ellen Nebeker Rhodes. She was married July 11, 1888 to Oliver Bantz, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Belle Galloway of Covington, 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Emma Himebaugh of Glenville, GA; and Georganna, and Paul Galloway, a great grandson, Gilbert Himebaugh and a brother, Wallace Rhodes of Potomac, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Covington, with the Rev. J. Shields White, pastor of the church and the Rev. Knight of Osborn Prairie Chapel Church officiating.
