Clarence G. Banta, 60, father of Mrs. Geneva Krug of Hillsboro died suddenly at his residence southwest of New Richmond, early Sunday morning. The funeral service was held from the Center Christian Church Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Watson in charge and burial New Richmond Cemetery. The New Richmond Masonic Lodge conducted the service at the cemetery. He had been a school bus driver in Coal Creek Township for the past 23 years. A member of the Center Christian Church, the New Richmond Masonic order and Eastern Star and Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite. Surviving besides the widow, the former Pearl Kite are a son Clarence W. of New Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Krug, Hillsboro; two sister and four brothers – kbz
