BANNON, Lewis - Rev. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

The Reverend Lewis Bannon, age 101 years, died at the home of his son, in Bloomingdale, Parke county, on Wednesday. He had enjoyed unusual good health for one of his advanced years, and his last illness lasted less than ten days. Mr. Bannon was a native of Ohio, but had lived in Parke county more than 75 years. He was ordained a minister in the Christian church more than 60 years ago, and it is said that he never misssed a conference until quite recently. He was well and favorably known in south Fountain.
