Dora Michael Bannon was born near Harveysburg, Ind., Oct 4, 1881, departed this life in Atlanta, Ga., Thursday, Oct. 24, 1907, age 26 years and 20 days. He was stricken with that dreadful disease, consumption, about one year ago. He was married to Miss Irine Reichard Feb. 1 1905. “Mike” as he was familiarly known, was a barber in Kingman for a number of years where he was known and liked by all. He was a patient sufferer through all his long illness and was ready to go. He realized that he could not get well and told his dear wife and kind relatives that he could never recover from the dreadful disease with which he was afflicted, and for them not to worry or grieve as it would be all for the best. He was a kind and loving husband and will be sadly missed. He leaves to mourn his loss a loving wife, an aged father, three sisters, four brothers and a host of friends. He was taken to Jonesboro, Ark., and laid to rest in the beautiful city cemetery beside his mother. -s
