Pine Village – Charles O. Bannon, 82, Pine Village, died in his home at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. He had been in ill health for a year and in serious condition six weeks. Born near Harrisburg, he was married to Miss Muriel Lindley in 1905. She died in 1957. He retired from his job as section hand on the Chicago, Attica and Southern railroad in 1942. A member of the Methodist Church, he had lived at Pine Village for 41 years. He is survived by 9 daughters: Mrs. Marguerite Fleming; Mrs. Mildre Gatrell; Mrs. Georgie Horner; Mrs. Wilma Mulvey; Mrs. Marjorie Parson and Mrs. Mary Arndt all of Lafayette; Mrs. Kathren Queery, Attica; Mrs. Virginia Hall, Pine Village and Mrs. Eva Hyman, Brookstone and a son, Bill Bannon, Pine Village.
