BALSER, Russell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Russell C. Balser, 70, 416 Ford St, Lapel, Ind died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov 2 at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville after an extended illness. He was born in Fountain County July 2, 1916 the son of Richard Balser, who died in 1978 and Eliza Warbritton Blaser, who died in April of this year. He married Frances Lorraine DeWitt Nov 18, 1939; she survives. He had retired in 1978 from Delco Remy, Anderson after 25 years of employment. Surviving besides his wife are son, Curtis, Lapel, one brother, Larry J. Balser, Attica and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. today at the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home, Lapel. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Brothers with Rev. Joseph Wagner official; burial at Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
