Waynetown, April 25 - Benjamin Ball, 80 years old, a well known man of this place died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Switzer of Waynetown. He had been ill for some time. His death was caused by a sudden stroke of paralysis.
He was the son of Zopher and Lucinda Ball. He was born near here and has lived here all of his life. He was known as a prominent farmer in this vicinity. He was married 63 years ago to Miss Mary K. Bell who survives him.
He is also survived by three sons, William Ball of Waynetown; John Ball of Crawfordsville and Charles Ball of Hillsboro and three daughters, Mrs. James Switzer; Mrs. Charles Gegner of Hillsboro and Mrs. Hugh McCarty of New Market.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Christian Union Church, south of Waynetown. The Rev. Nixon of Kokomo will be in charge of the services. The burial will be at the Waynetown Cemetery. - kbz
