Charles Irvin Baldwin, 57, of 290 Parker Ave, Benton Harbor died at 2:50 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor where he was admitted Thursday. Mr. Baldwin had been a resident of Benton Harbor 37 years. He was born June 17, 1899 in Attica, Ind and on Sept 16, 1919 he married Miss Lettie McCord in Attica. They came to liv in Benton Harbor the following December. Mr. Baldwin had been employed as a coremaker at Superior Steel & Malleable Castings Company, Benton Harbor for 35 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Benton Harbor. Survivors include his wife, Lettie; a son Charles of Benton Harbor and three daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Kathryn) Kruggel and Mrs. Verlin (Nancy) Ross of BH and Mrs. Jules (Marjorie) Julian of Longmont, Colo. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Beaves of Attica, Ind and Mrs. Bonnie Warrick of Toledo, O. Services will be held Monday at 2 pm. At the Frost Funeral Home, BH. The officiating minister will be the Rev. Robert Behnken, past of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor. Friends may call at the Frost FH. - kbz
