PERRYSVILLE - William C. Baker, age 51, of Perrysville Rt. 1, died at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at his home. He had been in ill health since October but death was unexpected. Mr. Baker was born April 16, 1918, at Clinton, the son of Jacob and Mary Helegda Baker. He was married June 7, 1940, to Annetta Ghost, who survives. He had been a farmer most of his life, spending the summer at his home near Perrysville and living in Danville, Ill., during the winter. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: three sons, Jacob of Cayuga, Jonathan and William Curtis, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Stoutenour, Mrs. Susan Morphy, both of Danville, Kathryn Ann and Jeanne, both at home; and his mother and father of Danville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danville. The Rev. Frank Faulstich officiated and burial was in Lower Mound cemetery southwest of Covington.
