Mrs. Clara B. Baker, 90, a former resident of Attica, now residing in Michigan City, Ind., died Sunday (Aug. 29, 1971) at the Red Oaks Home in Michigan City. She had been in ill health four years. Born Sept. 17, 1880, in Tippecanoe County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Catherine Iesle. She was married to Charles Edmond Baker, who died June 23, 1953. She had resided in Michigan City since May. Mrs. Baker retired from Harrison Steel Castings Co. She was a member of the Attica Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include a son, Howard of Michigan City; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Davis and Mrs. Mary Alting, both of Indianapolis; a grandchild and a great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by three daughters. Services Thursday at the Maus Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry C. Randolph officiating. Burial in the Montmorenci Cemetery.
