BAITY, Ada Cooper - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ada Cooper Baity of Walton, age 87, died Friday morning, July 1, in Dukes Hospital at Peru. She was born near Mellott, October 3, 1895, the daughter of James R. and Sina Belle Cooper. May 28, 1922, she married Simon Baity, who died November 1966. Mrs. Baity graduated from Mellott High School and was a member of the Non-denominational Church.

  Surviving area are three sisters, Daisy Drew of Laurel, Beulah Hoover of Walton and Elsie Thompson of Mellott; and three brothers, Fred and Everett Cooper of Crawfordsville and Glenn Cooper of Lebanon.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery at Ridge Farm, Illinois.  – thanks so much to S
