Attica - Beulah Alberta (Riley) Baird, 73, 461 Avenue Six, Attica, died at 8 a.m. Saturday Aug 1, 1998 at her residence. She had been in failing health. Born Oct 23, 1924 in Attica, the daughter of Charles Howard and Sarah Alice Jane Redman Riley. She married Carl Allen Baird Aug 17, 1951 in Attica, whos survives. She was a lifelong resident of Attica. She attended school in Attica. She was formerly employed at Radio Materials Corp in Attica for several years. She later worked at Paris Laundry in Attica. Survivors: husband, daughters, Carla Jeanine (Harold) Hatch, Veedersburg; Ruth Etta (Melvin) Brazzell, Gallatin, Tenn; sons Allen Ray Biard, Attica; Darryl Lee Baird, Cates; sister Hazel (Charles) Godfrey, Attica; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Maus Funeral Home, Attica with Rev. Gayle Crowe officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
