BAINBRIDGE, Charles E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Charles E. Bainbridge of RR 1, Covington, age 62, died Friday, December 17, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born at Henning, Illinois, January 1, 1920, the son of Charles Samuel and Edith Mahorney Bainbridge. July 3, 1942, he married Pansy Koen, who survives. He was a member of Cooper’s Chapel Church, the American Legion at Covington and Masonic Lodge at Tilton, Illinois.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Carol J. Bainbridge of RR 1, Covington; three sons, Lee E., Charles R. and Roy J., all of RR 1, Covington; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington.-s
