AUTER, Edith Bodine - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Edith Marie Auter, 89 of Veedersburg, died from natural causes at 2:25 am. Dec 21, 1998 at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Born Feb 18, 1909 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Mahlon and Kathryn (DeHaven) Bodine. She married Charles F. Auter March 3, 1936. He died in 1966.  She was a homemaker. Survivors include four sons, James AUter of Martinsville, Don Auter of Seattle, Wash; Ed Auter of Covington and Jeff Auter of West Lafayette; four daughter, Mary K. Krout and Susie Linker, both of Veedersburg; Peggy McKee of Battle Ground and Judi VanHook of West Lebanon; two sisters, Mildred Hovermale of Covington and Dorthy Rhoades of Hawkensville, GA; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. One son also preceded her in death.  The service will be 1 pm. Wednesday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 303 N. Main St, Veedersburg. The Rev. Paul Kent and Rev. Glenn Ray Sr will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington.  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on TUesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity. - kbz
