Mrs. Lydia Applegate, 73, died Friday April 7 (1950) at her home south of Veedersburg, following a paralytic stroke suffered earlier in the day. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fishero Funeral Home, Veedersburg with burial iN Rockfield Cemetery. Mrs. Applegate was born Nov 9, 1876 in Fountain County, the daughter of Levi and Ellen Brissey Redenbaugh. She was married to Frank Applegate who died 13 years ago. She was a member of the Centennial EUB Church. Survivors are a daughter, Miss Hazel Applegate at home; two brothers, James Redenbaugh, Veedersburg and Claude Redenbaugh of Indianapolis and four sisters, Mrs. Laura Cartwright, Veedersburg; Mrs. Myrtle Silvers, Attica; Mrs. Ada Wileford, Indianapolis and Mrs. Ella Seiferth, Hackensack, NJ.
