NEW RICHMOND — Clifford F. Andrews, 66, of Clinton died suddenly at 11:45 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Andrews, a former resident of the New Richmond community, was stricken at his home and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Vermillion County Hospital. He resided at 803 S. Fourth St. The deceased owned and managed the Riverside Mills, a Clinton grain storage and processing firm. Andrews, a Romney native, left the New Richmond area 20 years ago for Clinton. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a past master of the New Richmond Masonic Lodge. Surviving are the widow, Juanita; two sons, Allen of Lebanon and Rolan of Greenfield; a daughter, Mrs. Kristin Weidnaar of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Fern Olson who lives in Vermont, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Frist Funeral Home at Clinton. Masonic rites are set for 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but instead, friends may make donations to their favorite charities in his memory. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
