Drowned – Mr. WW Anderson was thrown from his horse and drowned in Big Vermilion River while attempting to cross it at Morgan’s Mill, Vermilion County, Ill on the 6th inst. The deceased was an Englishman, 25 years old and without relatives in this country.  He belonged to the order of Odd Fellows and Sons of Temperance and was buried in Danville on Sunday in the imposing rites of Odd Fellowship, performed by brothers from Perrysville, Georgetown and Covington, and witnessed by a large concourse of Sons of Temperance and Ladies and Gentlemen of Danville.
