ATTICA — Lorraine (Clemens)
Anderson, 55, 304 Holiday Drive, Attica, died unexpectedly at her home at 3:05
p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000. She was born
June 29, 1944 in Ellisville, Ark., the daughter of Samuel and Emogene Clemens
Craig. She married Marshall D. Anderson Feb. 17, 1953 in Attica, who
survives. She was raised in Camden,
Ark., and graduated in 1962 from Fairview High School in Camden. She was a
veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Viet Nam Conflict. She served in
the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and later at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. She was a
homemaker and basket maker. She was a
member of the Attica Christian Church and the Indiana Basket Makers
Association. Survivors, besides the
husband, include: a daughter, Margeaux Anderson, a senior at Attica High
School; a step-son, Michael Anderson, Attica; her mother, Emogene Craig,
Camden, Ark · two brothers, Charlie Craig, Camden, Ark., Jim Craig, Louisiana;
two sisters, Linda (Morris) White, Springdale, Ark., Brenda R. Schratz,
Springdale, Ark.; and a grandson, Richard Tyler Anderson, Attica. She was preceded in death by her father,
Samuel Clemens. Funeral services were at
1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Pastor Harvey Lange
officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Habitat for
