ANDERSON, Julia Etta Squire - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Julia Etta Anderson, age 87, a resident of Perrysville for the past 44 years, died at 1:10 a. m. today, Sept. 6, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where she had been a patient one day. Mrs. Anderson was born April 30, 1874 at Verden, Ill., the daughter of Daniel and Julia Ann Ray Squire. She was married Aug. 26, 1897 to William Albert Anderson, who preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1915. She had been a resident of Rankin, Ill., until 1917 when she moved to Perrysville. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Perrysville EUB Church. She is survived by one son, Charles Anderson of Perrysville Rt. 1; two daughters, Mrs. Josie M. Coleman and Mrs. Mary E. Wilson, both residents of Covington Rt. 1; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was the last of a family of four children and she was preceded in death by two sons. T'he body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. E. V. Wamsley, assisted by the Rev. Paul Schunn, will officiate. Burial will be in the East Lynn Cemetery at East Lynn, Ill.
