Annie Lousettie Anderson, wife of Chas. B. Anderson was born
Feb. 11, 1862 in Fountain County, Indiana. Died at her home, nine miles east of
Kingfisher, Nov. 9th, 1900, aged 38 years 8 months and 28 days. The
deceased was baptized at the early age of 15, by Elder LC Warren at Antioch
Church, Indiana and has been a consistent Christian through life. For the past
five years she affiliated with the Baptist Church near her home and was held in
the highest esteem by that body for her faithfulness and service – holding the
office of trustee for the church. The departed was married to CB Anderson who
survives her Sept 9th, 1881.
They together spent seven years in Minnesota, one year in Colorado and
were present at the opening of Oklahoma, where they have since lived. There
were born to this union two sons and three daughters, three of which are now
living two sons and one daughter. Funeral services were conducted by Rev.
Julius Wilkins at the Baptist Church, Thursday, Nov 19th. They have
in the home the consolation of Christianity; Mr. Anderson being a disciple of
the Lord Jesus. The entire community keenly feel the loss of Sister Anderson
and sympathize with the bereaved family. “Blessed are the dead, which die in
the Lord.”
