Timothy ALWARD
Veedersburg News - Dec. 1930 - Timothy ALWARD, widely known farmer living in the vicinity of Wallace, died late Thursday evening from complications following an illness of several weeks time. He was born in the Wallace vicinity and lived practically all his lifetime in Fountain and Parke counties. He was the son of Francis M. and Sarah Day Alward. He was 77 years of age having been born on April 29 1853. The deceased was twice married, his first wife, formerly Jeanette Myers, having preceded him in death by several years. Following her death he was married to Abbie Wilkinson, who survives him. There are also four daughters and two sons, who are, Mrs. Charles Hutchinson, of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Myrtle Davis and Mrs. Grace Nuewnum of Kingman and Miss Irene, at home; Otis of Lansing, Ill., and Claude of Washington D.C. there is also one brother George of Reedly, California and one sister, Mrs. Mary Harlan of Dunlap, California. Funeral services were held, Sunday afternoon, at the Wolf Creek church, with
Rev. H. A. Lashbrook officiating. Burial at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
