ALWARD, Charles Cliston - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman – Charles Cliston Alward, 87 died at 1:48 p.m. Saturday May 25 in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville.  He was born Feb 17, 1909 in Fountain County.  His marriage was to Nadine Thomas, Sept 13, 1929.  She survives.  He attended the Grange Corner School and was a retired livestock dealer and truck driver.  Also surviving are three sons: Donald Alward of Kingman; Tom Alward of Frankfort and Richard Lawson of Danville, Ill and three brothers, Stanton Alward of Kingman, Johnny Q Alward of Wallace and Leson “Bus” Alward of Attica.  Service will be Wednesday in Wallace. ~~~transcribed by kbz
