Marshall - Wilson H. Allen, 94 died Friday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roma Zackmire of Kingman. Born in Parke County on August 4, 1860, he was the son of Samuel and Catherine Morrison Allen. He was a life long member of the Bloomingdale Friends Church. Surviving besides the one daughter are three more daughters, Mrs. Jennie Allen of Tico, Calif; Mrs. Marie Mendenhall of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Isabelle Reed of Indianapolis; one son Foster of Tico, Calif; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 pp.m. at the Bloomingdale Friends Church with Rev. Ed Woodard and Rev. Franklin Chant officiating. Burial in Bloomingdale Cemetery. - kbz

Wilson H. Allen, 94, retired carpenter died Friday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roma Sackmire of Kingman after an illness of two weeks. He was born August 4, 1860 the son of Samuel and Catherine Morrison Allen. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Allen of Pico, California; Mrs. Marie Mendenhall of Bloomington; Mrs. Isabel Reed of Indianapolis and Mrs. Sackmire; a son, Foster Allen of Pico; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was a life member of the Friends Church of Bloomingdale. Services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Friends Church in Bloomingdale with the Davies’ Funeral Home of Marshall in charge. Burial was in Bloomingdale cemetery. – kbz

Marshall, Ind July 2 - Wilson H. Allen, 94 years old died at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roma Sackmire in Kingman. Surviving are three other daughters: Miss Jenne Allen of Pico, Calif; Mrs. Marie Mendenhall of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Isabelle Reed of Indianapolis; a son, Foster of Pico, Calif; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Davies Funeral Home where it will remain until 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon when it will be taken to the Friends Church in Bloomingdale for services at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. E. Woodard and Rev. Franklin Chant will officiate and burial will be in the Bloomingdale cemetery. - kbz
