ALLEN, Minnie Sanders - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Yeddo - Minnie J. Allen, 84 died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the Allen Nursing Home in Montezuma. Mrs. Allen had been in poor health for four years. Born May 16, 1869 in Parke County, she was the daughter of David and Susan Myers Sanders. She was married to David Allen Feb 5, 1888. She was a member of Wolfe Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are two grandchildren, Richard Allen of St. Bernice and Mrs. Eileen Stephens of Miami, Fl and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in1943. The body will remain in the Branson Funearl Home in Rockville until noon Tuesday when it will be taken to the Wolfe Creek Church for 2 p.m. services to be conducted by Rev VE Squibb. Burial will be in Wolfe Creek Cemetery.
