ALLEN, Mary June Hoover - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman, Ind -- Mrs. Mary June Allen, 46 of Kingman Rt 2 died Friday afternoon May 8, 1970 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. She had been in ill health several months and hospitalized the past week. She was born Dec 6, 1923 to Franklin and Sarah Clift Hoover. She was married to Leon Allen in 1956. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Yeddo Baptist Church and graduated from Kingman HS in 1941. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, and son, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Hoover of Crawfordsville; a brother Lawrence Hoover of Crawfordsville and 3 sisters, Mrs. Sarah Thornberry of Crown Point, Mrs. Opal Hutts of Bloomington and Mrs. Rozella Lowery of Anderson. Services will be conducted at Woodrow Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
