COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Word has been received here of the death of Howard M. Allen, 72, a former Covington resident, at his home in Indianapolis. Mr. Allen was born in Fountain County, the son of John W. and Hattie Richardson Allen. He moved to Indianapolis a number of years ago. Survivors include a son and two daughters; two brothers, Herschel Allen of Perrysville, Harold Allen of Monrovia; and a sister, Mrs. Estella Orahood of Covington. Services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Monday at the Irvington Chapel in Indianapolis, with burial in that city. Mr. Howard M. Allen, 2125 Brookside Ave., husband of the late Myrtle C. Allen, father of Mrs. Deanna Wayman, Mrs. Julie Ramsey, Mrs. Carolyn Lewis and Robert Allen, grandfather of 12, brother of Mrs. Stella Oarhood, Herschel and Harold Allen. Services Monday, May 4th, at Moore & Kirk Irvington Chapel, 5342 E. Wash., 11 a.m. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday.
