Dorothy F. Allen of Mellott, age 72, died Monday morning, August 2, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Adams County, Ohio December 18, 1909, the daughter of Edward B. and Helen Marshall McCann. In 1930 she married Dalmer Allen who died March 5, 1965. She was a graduate of Covington HS.. Surviving are two sons, Wayne L. and James D., both of Mellott; a sister, Agnes Keller of Covington; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Joel Hutson officiating. Burial in Kingman Fraternal cemetery. - kbz
