Perrysville, Ind -- Lowell Forrest Allen, 50, of Perrysville died at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday June 6, 1967 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where he had been a patient for 3 hours. Mr. Allen was born July 25, 1916 in Fulton Twp, Fountain County, the son of David and Adah Wallace Allen. He was married to Catherine Mettee on December 7, 1936 who survives. He was employed at the REMC Radio Materials plant at Attica the past 10 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Attica. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Judith Schultz of Danville, Ill. and Mrs. Carolyn Saltsgaver of Perrysville; a son, Robert F. of Waynetown; five sisters, Mrs. Gay Crowder of Perrysville; Mrs. Marjorie Royer of Danville; Mrs. Avanelle Shoaf of Kingman; Mrs. Wilma Dunn of St. Petersburg, Fla; and Mrs. Freda Holycross of Danville Rt 5; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers. Services will be Thursday at 2 at the Bodine & Shelby Funera Home at Covington with the Rev. Don H. Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening.
