Covington, March 19 --Cleveland Allen, 59, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Fountain Co. died at 7:30 o'clock Friday night at his home NW of Yeddo. Mr. Allen was the son of John Allen and Mary Catherine Hankins Allen. He was married to Jessie Miller. The widow survives, together with two sons, Schuyler Allen of Covington and Sherman Allen of Kingman and four daughters, Mrs. Lois Dillon of Kingman, Mrs. Lorene Riley of Veedersburg and Oveta Allen and Pat Allen, both at home. There are 5 grandchidlren. Also surviving are 6 brothers and 4 sisters: Willard Allen, Zimmie Allen and Noah Allen all of Covington; George Allen, Charles and Cleo Allen of Kingman; Mrs. Hester Woodrow of Covington; Mrs. Nina Tanner of Veedersburg and Mrs. Clara Merriman and Mary Jane Allen both of Kingman. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Joe Deerman of Hillsboro at the Centennial United Brethren church, SE of Covington at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. The body will remain at the family home until an hour before the services. Friends may call at the home. Bur. in Centennial Cemetery. Also marriage was in Fountain Co Apr 20 1915 Bk 15

Cleveland Allen, 59, retired farmer, lifelong resident of Fountain County and former trustee of Millcreek Township, died at 7:30 o’clock Friday night at his home northwest of Yeddo. Mr. Allen had been in declining health for the past two years.   Born in Wabash Township, Fountain County, Oct. 23, 1889, Mr. Allen was the son of john Allen and Mary Catherine Hankins Allen. He was married to Jessie Miller.  The widow survives, together with two sons, Schuyler Allen of Covington and Sherman Allen of Kingman; and four daughters, Mrs. Lois Dillon of Kingman, Mrs. Lorene Riley of Veedersburg, and Oveta Allen and Pat Allen, both at home.
