Mrs. Clara Shumaker Allen, 61, died Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Suzuki Clinic in Covington. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Mrs. Allen was born Sept. 28, 1885 in Alvin, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Laura Nash Shumaker. She was married to Charles A. Allen, Sept. 27, 1905. Surviving are the husband, R. F. D. 1, Kingman; two sons, Gerald of Louisville and Harold J. of Kingman; seven daughters, Mrs. Catherine Mustor of Zionsville, Mrs. Bethezene Gray of R. F. D. 1, Veedersburg, Mrs. Frances Rogers of Zionsville, Marie Allen of Indianapolis, Mrs. Madeline Richardson of Kingman, Mrs. Pauline Meadows of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Fauniel Coleson of Hillsboro; and four brothers, Everett Shumaker of Alvin, Ill., Frank Shumaker of Springfield, Ill., Grant Shumaker of Covington, and Homer Shumaker of New York, N. Y. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the residence. Burial was in Harveysburg Cemetery. – thanks to S&E
