Hillsboro, Ind - Byron M. Allen 83 of Hillsboro, Ind died at 1:45 pm. Saturday (Aug 12, 1972) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. Born July 30, 1889 near Wallace, Ind, he was a son of Hiram D. and Emma L. Myers Allen. He married Elsie Watson Oct 17, 1917 at Versailes, Ohio. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George E. Gooding of Crawfordsville; one son, Herman L. Allen of Crawfordsville; four brothers, Ivan of Lafayette, Bernard of Detroit, Fine of Indianapolis and the Rev. Emmett Allen of Seal Beach, Calif; one sister, Edith Krout of Ft. Wayne and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Arrangements for services and visitation are incomplete. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery after services at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home... services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home for Byron M. Allen, 83 of Hillsboro who died Saturday Aug 12, 1972 at Culver Hospital. The Rev. John C. Stacy will officiate. Burial in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.
